The couple of days past events

Here is what has happened the past couple of days in sports. In the NBA, the Magic upset the Cavaliers 107-106 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals and take a (1-0) lead in that series. Then on Thursday, the Nuggets beat the Lakers 106-103 in a close game to even up the series at (1-1). Tonight, the Magic and Cavaliers go at it again in Game 2 in what is sure to be another close game.

Then, in the NHL, the only game to report was that the Penguins outlasted the Hurricanes 7-4 to go up (2-0) in their series. Tonight is Game 3 between the Red Wings and Blackhawks.

Finally in the MLB, the Yankees made it 8 games in a row by beating the Orioles 11-4 on Wednesday and 7-4 on Thursday to improve their record to (24-17). Now they turn their attention to interleague play and take on the Phillies.

Till later,

Rusty Butler
