Not much going on

There was some action going on over the weekend. In the NBA, there were 2 Game 7's to make out the conference finals. Both games were on Sunday. First, the Lakers finally put away the Rockets in a blowout fashion 89-70 to win the series (4-3). Then, the Magic ran over the Celtics 101-82 to take their series (4-3).

In the NHL, the conference finals started with the Red Wings taking the Blackhawks to school (5-2)  to go up (1-0) in the series. Tonight the other final starts between the Hurricanes and Penguins.

In the MLB, the Yankees took on the Twins. On Friday, the Yankees beat the Twins 5-4. Saturday the Yankees won 6-4 in 11 innings while on Sunday the Yankees won again 3-2 in 10 innings to boost their record to (20-17). The Yankees will play the Twins tonight to end the series.

Till later,

Rusty Butler
