Last night events

Last night had a myriad of events going on. In NBA action, Lebron James received his MVP trophy that he so richly deserved for his play over the NBA season. Also, the Cavaliers and James were in action in their semifinal series against the Hawks and beat down the Hawks 99-72 to take a (1-0) series lead. In other action, the Nuggets took it to the Mavericks 117-105 to go up (2-0) in their series. In action tonight, we have the Magic/Celtics and the Rockets/Lakers in their Game 2's.

Going on to the NHL, in early action, it was the Canucks being victorious over the Blackhawks 3-1 to go up (2-1) in that series. The late game, it was the Ducks winning 2-1 in a close game with the Ducks moving ahead (2-1) in that series. Games tonight include the Capitals/Penguins and Bruins/Hurricanes.

Finally on MLB action, the Yankees lost again to the Red Sox 7-3 with their record falling to (13-13). They now focus on their attention to Rays at home in an interesting series.

Till later,

Rusty Butler
